Co-Founders
The Sanctuary Collective was born from a shared vision—a belief that healing happens when we reconnect with the land, with animals, and with each other.
With backgrounds spanning equine care, holistic wellness, and community building, Josette and Sebastian set out to create more than a rescue—they envisioned a living ecosystem where horses find sanctuary, land is restored, and people discover transformation through connection.
What began as EquusAid has grown into The Sanctuary Collective—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to weaving together the threads of regeneration, rescue, wellness, community, and retreat into something greater than the sum of its parts.
